KIGO Travel, based in Kyoto, Japan, is a certified tour operator offering personalized travel planning for global travel agents and independent travelers. With in-depth local knowledge of Japan's culture and systems, trips are tailored to meet individual needs, ensuring a smooth and unforgettable travel experience.
About Me
I am the owner of KIGO Travel and a Travel Consultant based in Kyoto, Japan. My passion lies in creating personalized and memorable journeys, rooted in a lifelong love for exploring new places, cultures, and Japan’s own rich traditions.
Travel has always felt like my calling. After finishing high school in Victoria, BC, Canada, and earning a degree in Tourism Management from the University of Queensland, Australia, I returned home to Japan to build my career in inbound tourism.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across many roles in the travel industry—International Liaison Manager, Tour Operator, and Executive Assistant. Since 2017, I’ve also been providing personal e-Concierge services and designing tailor-made itineraries for international travelers.
All along, I knew I wanted to one day start my own travel business. After gaining over a decade of industry experience, 2023 felt like the right time to take that leap. That’s when I founded KIGO Travel, where I now dedicate myself fully to helping travelers discover Japan through thoughtfully crafted, personalized experiences.

Booking will primarily be handled by you, but we’ll ensure you’re fully equipped to make these bookings independently.

Includes everything in the Basic Plan, plus:

Rail Tickets (Purchased in Advance):
Rail tickets can be arranged in advance, saving you time during your travels. A personalized quote will be provided based on your route and preferences.

Ongoing Support:
Concierge service for restaurant reservations, including up to 3 restaurants per trip. Additional restaurant bookings can be arranged for a nominal fee per reservation.
We’ll also assist with bookings for any travel-related services on your behalf, with each service quoted separately.
